Hi John, Great to see a post from you. Nice work on the gun breach - very cool. Will be amazing once finished. Glad to hear you are still working on tanks!

Excellent details. The metal tracks and new rubber tires are fantastic. Excellent makeover - Really nice piece. Thanks for posting and thanks AT for having off topic section.

Re: M3 Help Needed!!
Was thinking when you posted your issue - maybe the final drive gear is rubbing against hull side? This could definitely cause problems.

Florian,
The FAMO roof cover looks excellent. Will you add some camo color to it as well or keep as current color? Really finishes the model.

Bob

Re: Brian’s King Tiger
Brian,
My Tiger 1 had the solid alum wheels. It seemed to take forever to get those together - depending how much detail you want. Those stamped steel are super cool (like original) wheels - but more parts for sure. Hang in there - a little progress at a time!

I agree Mark, that would be a massively cool model in 1/6. One which I would have to buy. I have friend who made several from scratch in metal - the drive train and 8 wheel steering would definitely be an engineering marvel and challenge!

Incredible details! The mantlet cover came out excellent. Your model combine my two favorite things - bulldozer and tank! Amazing work! How do you like the Wabeco D2400 lathe? I don't see many of those any more. I have its bigger brother, the D6000 for nearly 24 years. Masterpiece of a machine. Happ...

Incredibly cool turrets! Wow! Paul Allens Flying Heritage museum close by has a 1/96 scale Musashi (sister of Yamato) that Duane Dahm of Spokane Wa built and donated pix below. It is huge - 12-14 feet long. Starting off 2021 with a bang! Speaking of, will the guns have some kind of pyro "ban...

It think the FT is a great choice as well! We have the Mark 1 WWI tank, and Rolls armored car! The FT-17 is a great choice. I'm still trying to save my pence for a E8 Sherman and Hetzer.

It sounds similar to this item? Although I'm game for anything faster and easier to connect.

Perhaps one last 2020 update. I redesigned the Sherman air cleaner box to be much simpler, and slightly smaller. Will be using these 3D printed version.
