The half-track follows on from our highly successful Tiger and Sherman models. All our models are produced in 1/6th scale. At over three and a half feet long the half-track is a unique and substantial model which represents accurately the 8 ton prime mover on which it is based. The Sd.Kfz. 7 was probably the most significant and versatile vehicle employed by the German army in WWII. Although originally conceived to pull the old 75mm cannon the vehicle showed itself to be the ideal vehicle to pull the deadly 88mm Flak used to such devastating effect against aircraft and enemy armour. |

The model is authentically engineered and features proportional variable speed tracks, leaf spring suspension and a fully detailed chassis and underframe. In short this is the closest you’ll get to the real thing in 1/6th scale. The model is manufactured in metal and your bolt together kit comes complete with every component necessary to assembly the model as illustrated on these pages. A motion pack of motors and electronics is available to get you moving and the model is designed for exceptional performance over the most rugged of off road terrain. To add the finishing touches a sound unit and smoke generator are also available. All components are fully machined and require no drilling, tapping, metal cutting, or forming. A modest amount of filing may be required to ensure a perfect fit. All fasteners are included and all you should need to complete your assembly is a few standard hand tools. |
Limited Batch Production The SdKfz 7 Half Track was the subject of a limited batch production. A small number of models remain available for immediate delivery and you are respectfully asked to place your order without delay to avoid disappointment. Orders must be accepted on a first come, first served basis. |
