Option Packs

The basic fully-machined kit builds into a first class showcase model for static display. The SdKfz 222 is a worthy centrepiece to any 1/6th scale collection.

However, the model is engineered to run outdoors over the most demanding of terrain. Its four wheel drive and four wheel steering, on fully independent suspension, making this an exceptional cross country performer. Gradients of 50 degrees should not present a problem! In addition the SdKfz 222 promises to be the most fun to drive of any of our models to date with a staggering top speed of 8mph.

To get you mobile we are pleased to offer you a comprehensive Option 1 package that includes motors, gearbox and electronics. (Please note we do not supply radio due to the large variation in customer preferences and the complex differences in world wide operating frequencies).

Motion Pack

The special effects pack is not necessary to run your vehicle, but can seriously enhance your enjoyment of the finished model.

For those looking for the ultimate in realism a sound simulator is also available which provides engine start-up, shut-down, and changes in engine volume proportional to the speed of the model. There is also a machine gun sound.

This effects pack can be purchased at the time of your order, or at a later stage, and includes our very own electronic sound system and a smoke generator.

Special effects pack

Armortek amplifier module and with Benedini TBS5 plug and play sound generator card. Features multi function, micro-processor controlled, and digitally recorded sound of the tank engine. Start up, proportion idle and engine run, and engine shutdown, with up to 10 other sound effects. 25watt RMS high quality robust amplifier with easy to use volume control. This amplifier is matched to a high performance individual loudspeaker

Armortek smoke generator with industrial quality heating element and smoke dispersal fan. Proportional to tank running speed. Provided with independent isolation switch for operating the tank with or without smoke.
