The Model

The model has been thoroughly researched by reference to technical data, books and our own photographs of surviving M2 and M3 Half Tracks in the UK. We chose to model a M2 as it represents one version that appeared in numerous theatres throughout WWII. This M2 can be easily modified to a M3 and M16 and other versions.

The model is an accurate 1/6th scale replica of the M2 and is 39” long x 12” wide x 15” high. Weight is approximately 30kgs (66lbs).

The kit comes fully-machined for bolt-together assembly. It is designed for those with limited engineering experience and may be assembled in 50 – 100 hours.

With each new subject we manufacture we look to surpass the quality of our previous offerings. The Armortek M2 Half Track is a classic model of the highest quality and an ideal companion to the M4A3 Sherman. Castings include excellent detail and of course we maintain our regular policy of supplying genuine rubber tyres, and for this model composite rear tracks.
