Since its start up in 2001 Armortek has established itself as the market leader in the supply of the highest quality metal tanks and military vehicles in 1/6th scale. During the last six years we have learned a great deal about the market and what our customers demand in terms of quality and service standards. We have also learned a great deal about the manufacturing process and the key suppliers on which we can rely.

Our future objective is to create the conditions under which Armortek can develop a significant range of quality metal models over the next few years and combine this with the highest standards of customer service. We appreciate this future vision cannot be realised without significant investments in design, prototyping and tooling and, indeed, in the management and technical expertise to make this all happen. A significant change in the ownership and management structure of the business occurred in 2006 when the business was acquired by Mark and Gill Watkins with the aim of developing the business from the successful foundation already established. Now located in East Devon Armortek has a dedicated industrial manufacturing unit from where all parts are produced and shipped to customers.
