Super cool project! Looks excellent. Looks like the worm drive went the way of the dinosaur (ie extinct). Very nice, the track shoes are really cool.

Hi Robert,

the worm drive produced to much axial force on the Truck Puller motor and I decided to replace it.

In the engine compartment is stil place for an engine replica, which is already under construction.
Kind regards
Günter

Beautiful little engine. 3D printing is a wonderful tool for this sort of detail. Still trying to wrap my head around all those real rivets! Even a small tank like this has a lot of rivets. Super cool project - can't wait to see it running!
Best regards,
Bob

This is one of the most remarkable models I have ever seen!

Well done!

It's one of the tanks I'd love to build! But not sure I am up to scratch-building!

Cheers and Merry Christmas!

Fantastic work, I live in hope someone will do an affordable kit in 1/6th someday. Static or RC, don't mind which :-)

Best regards

I am with Dave! That FT17 is an amazing tank.

Your scratch build is remarkable! If Armortek were to make one, I'd be on it in a second. But I think the Chinese ones are going to kill that market, even for an affordable version.

Cheers and thanks for the great build log!

Gunter,
Just beautiful model all around. Came out perfect as one would expect. The 3D printed texture on the turret looks good for the rough steel look. Excellent!

This is a brilliant model, congratulations. The FT17 is my number one for Armortek to offer some time soon too. You are a highly skilled engineer to build this from base materials.
