Nice smooth ride into the boot. A pallet in the floor of the car might make it easier. When I saw it dropping in I thought you might have difficulty getting it out. All ready now for transporting to open day. Not looking forward to getting mine into a mini.

tiger 1

Postby yves mouton » Sun Jul 31, 2011 10:22 pm

Hello,

Thanks Paul for your compliments, he is almost done just put the
tow cables on, the lights, MG gun flash, the animatronics and blankfire adjustment.

see you at the openday

John, i have no problem to ride forward in the car, i lower the barrel otherwise i hit the roof, if i ride out of the car i drive very
slow till the tank balance and then drive on the ramps.
There is a movie here when i drive in and out the car.

Great movies. Did you do the mg swivel yourself. Looks great. i tested the MG already. Just plug and play. Looking forward to seeing your blank firer in action. I am back to working on the Tiger. Had a break so that I could do some work on the house. Started adding zimmerit. Now waiting on some parts from Steve Winstone.

MG movement

Postby yves mouton » Mon Aug 01, 2011 6:53 am

Hello John,

Yes the MG movement is made by me, i used a servo for the side
movement, i used the rotation knob on my graupner transmitter.
The transmitter setup was done by Sven Strobbe.

I want the MG guns connect so that they can shoot separtely

Hi Yves

Your Tiger looks beautiful. You have done a superb job with it. Thanks for posting the photos of the blank firing unit. Those will come in handy later on.

Also nice to see our Tigers will be wearing the same tactical numbers. :D

Really nice photos and video. You should be very happy with your Tiger 1.

Kindest regards
Tim

tactical nr

Postby yves mouton » Tue Aug 02, 2011 6:37 pm

Hello Tim,

Thank you for your compliment, my tiger donth have so much
detail work like yours, in my opinion you got more skills than me
but i am happy with my work.

About the tactiacal nr, i chose the nr 223 random. It was difficult
for me what nr i wanted. My tiger is my design it is not a specific
tank from some of the Germans Abteilung.

I didn't find mutch about the totenkopf division.

For me looks the tiger 1 the best in German panzer grey,
that is my opinion ( i think thats for everyone different )

kind regards Yves
