Hi Simon,

Simply stunning paint work - so impressive!

I can see that you used the sponge in some places but on one of the roadwheels you didn´t use this method but some other method - how did you do it?

Keep those photos coming!

very nice of you all to take the effort to post on my build, tim its good your still watching the forum, one part of the build i have learnt is to paint the parts off the model as you go, it makes it easier to add more detail, then try and blend it together, thanks again for watching regards simon.

Hello Simon,

outstanding what you're doing with your KT 8)

Thanks a lot for your hint with the Kingtiger Book ! Never heard before of it, so I've ordered one hardcover version. Seems to be a pretty good guide for my coming build and I'm looking forward to it :D

Simon, I've booked myself into a workshop run by Mig Jimenez to see what this weathering thing is all about, from an acknowledged master. But if you chose to run one though, I'd cancel Mig and come to you. You've truely mastered this painting business. Your KT is without equal in any scale. We missed you at Yeovilton at the weekend.

All the best and thanks for posting. Keep it coming.

Stephen

thanks all for the positive replys, stephen i was at yeovilton the weekend but also missed you, your build on the panzer 111 and the finished result, theres not that much more to know, i over weather my tanks but thats just how i like them, built more for the carpet, the plastic boys paint with anything to get the desired result then matt varnish the whole model to seal it all in, the choice of materials using this method is endless, thanks again simon.
