Hi Paul and Phil,
it is very much better to shop in a craftsman's market because there a no calories in the parts!!! :D :D :D :D

The last photos shows the new steel sprockets and rings after laser treatment without machining.

Wow, serious work Martin! I wish I had your skills.
What compound are you using for your welds? They look a little rounder (not so pointy sharp) than most I have seen. Very realistic!

Hi Chris,
thank you for the compliments, i use Milliput white/red for the weldings and a oval tool to make the welding bead. Thicker sheets gets more than one row of welding.

Thanks Phil for the compliments,
here are the next details for the sprockets after making some drawings for the machining of the steel rings. You also can see the first screws and castellated nuts - the screws are to long at the moment.
