And this is how they started it:

I'm amazed it started in only about a quarter turn of the road wheels.

Re: Weston War AG

Many thanks to Denny for the organisation and B&B, Holger for the regular supply of tea and KitKats and Shirley for the catering, cakes and biscuits :-) I've a few pictures and videos of a Chieftain being driven around the main running area, the owner of which has also recently inherited an Armortek...

Re: Oh Dear !

This was a comment from Al Bowie on Facebook:

"This range of books is great if the Author is Dennis Oliver but be very wary of other authors in the range. A good friend was a contributor to that one and sent a huge list of complaints to the editor to no avail"

Oh Dear !

I know they say you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but when there are only 5 pictures of tanks on the cover of a book about the Centurion, and one of them is of a Chieftain ...

Re: Motion Control Module

The Sabertooth has a "Mixed Mode" where you can configure it to drive as you want. The Motion Control Module doesn't have that functionality.

If you want to drive as you have before, you'll probably need to enable Elevon mixing on the T4YF.

Re: The brute force of the Tiger 1

Ouch, that's a nasty scratch

The track pin whacker looks to be at about the right height compared to Tiger 131.

But it will be affected by the angular position of the idler adjustment.

Re: Tiger part #

No ball bearings then, just a brass ring around the hole in the top of the hull. If you can, I would seriously recommend following Steve Stuarts mods to fit a lazy susan bearing instead. I'm going to be doing that to a 205 Mid Tiger sometime soon. It makes such a difference, especially to a tank wit...

On the 2010 Mid Tiger and 2012 Late Tiger, the turret bearing part number was CE0490.

Looks like the return to battery on these Tiger shots is quite slow:
