Re: New motion pack motor behaviour

Configuration of these new modules is done by a combination of dip switches and software, but that's all done at the Armortek factory and opening the module voids the warranty. As you've eliminated the transmitter/receiver as a source of the problem, that only really leaves the module. I doubt it is...

Re: Tiger Unit / Tactical Markings

The pink used for the piping on Dragon figures is pretty much Barbie pink, possibly a little darker.

Re: Power on Button Red Flashing Light

I've remembered what the previous problem was. It was a large toggle switch which isolated the batteries from Motion Control Module. This went faulty, so that when it was in the on position, it didn't have any continuity. But as it went from the off position to the on position, it connected for long...

Re: Girls und Panzer

If you're into 1/35th scale models, there's a GuP branded range, which are actually reboxed Tamiya/Dragon/CyberHobby kits.

These occasionally appear on Ebay at much lower prices than the original kits.

Re: Mick's Grant

Try this, with the tank off: Press the thumb wheel to get to the "Function List" screen. Scroll the thumbwheel right down to "System Setup" Press the thumbwheel to select. Scroll the thumbwheel right to select Yes, and then press again to select. Use the thumbwheel to scroll down to Aircraft Type an...

Re: Mick's Grant

If you scroll the thumb wheel on the transmitter to the right, you should see a "Monitor" screen, with the various outputs displayed in a line. When you move a control stick or activate a switch, you should see the relevant control move on the screen. You can do this without switching on the tank. W...

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

There's been some discussion on the painting of wheels, with I think three distinct camps: 1) Wheels stayed in Dunkelgelb, so that they lightened the lower hull shadows. 2) Individual wheels were sprayed in solid colours, to break up the shape of the lower hull. 3) Wheels were sprayed with a camo pa...

Re: Power on Button Red Flashing Light

Does it flash red and fade away ? I've seen that on another tank but can't remember what the cure was. I think it was just switching the unit on and then off again straight away, so the LED was just showing the voltage stored in the system as it died. Is that 25V under load or floating ? Can you mea...

Chieftain crew uniforms

For anyone wishing to recreate Dave Dibb's Captain White figure, I have sourced a number of sets of the clothing used. DSCF2257.JPG I've not sourced any boots, mainly as these figures tend to end up missing lower limbs anyway   I agree with Dave and would recommend berets from Banjoman...

I wonder where is it now, as the Firepower museum closed in 2016 ?

I'm assuming you've tried it already! Many thanks for the warning 8)
Not me personally, but other people have tried, with that unexpected result.

Baby oil is popular but indoors can also become quite eye watering.
