Re: Uwe's 88

Uwe, an absolute work of Art. Even when I have zoomed in on the pictures of the 88, it looks like the real thing if not better , well done !!

Re: Flak 8.8, (Deutsch)

Hi Rolf,
As good as ever, brave move and very interesting choice to do a battle scared 88. I did think you were going to do a "museum quality" pristine model so I am glad to see that you are constructing a very "real used " 88. keep up the excellent work.

Re: forum at its best

Hi Simon, I can only agree, In the 10/11 years that Armortek and this Forum has been going, the standard has been growing every year. The quality of the models have more exact and easier to build as Mark and Gill refine and develop the manufacturing side. The world class modellers now on this site b...

Re: Flak 8.8, (Deutsch)

Hi Rolf, Just like Michals Half track, I have to remind myself that I am not looking at a restoration of a real 88, With the red oxide undercoat and the scuff marks etc where you are working, test fitting etc. the pictures look like the real thing. When these master pieces are finished it would be g...

Re: Flak 8.8, (Deutsch)

Rolf, Every time I look at your posts I quickly have to remind my self that this is a 1/6th scale model and not a full restoration of an actual "88". I just love the detail of your work, the cabling/piping clips that you have just added are excellent. I am now starting to wonder just how much detail...

Re: WANTED, Armorpax Tiger 1 loaders hatch

John, sorry I might be a bit "thick" on this post but are you not in fact looking for an "Armortek" Tiger loaders hatch and not an "armorpax" as I am sure MR Dibb would be very happy to sell you one of his excellent parts.

Tongue firmly in cheek !
Martin.

Rolf, I have been following your excellent work, please continue to post, I understand your frustration at a lack of response, but please do not confuse this with a lack of interest on this forum. we all get inspiration from the quality builders, mine has been to revisit the 88's on the forum (some ...

Phil, I just love looking at the quality of this build, you must be very proud of your work. Just 1 tiny question /observation in the very first photo of the tools that you have added, the fixings on the extendable wire cuter(?) are both holding the bottom arm, would the tool not turn and fall off i...
