Re: Centurion Re-wire

Sorry Adrian, missed your reply.
Thanks again for your help. I'm not sure about my sound card, I'll have to ask Kian after their break. If not you can probably expect a request for help!
best

Re: Centurion Re-wire

Misunderstood you last night Adrian. In the wee small hours the proverbial penny dropped and your logic was suddenly blindingly obvious. Dohhhhh. So this morning, played with motor polarity. Took a couple of goes to get tracks running in correct sense fwd/rev/left/right but happily all sorted. Sound...

Re: Centurion Re-wire

Ok cheers.
Bit dark now. First thing tomorrow will swap left and right motor connections on motion pack, maintaining yellow and blue polarity, and see what happens. Fingers crossed ......

Re: Centurion Re-wire

Thanks as always for your input Adrian. Just to be sure, are you talking about power leads to left / right motors, power lead polarity, or Rc connections? I’m using new style motion and audio module. Current configuration on the audio module Rc terminals is: 1 rx elevator 2 recoil servo 3 to motion ...

Re: Norfolk Tank Museum Armourfest 2018

Well done for flying the Armortek flag.
I was there on Thursday but couldn’t stay for the weekend as needed to travel south and catch a boat home. Shame, but maybe next year?
Nice to see Deborah II out in the open.

Centurion Re-wire

Long story, don’t ask  but I’ve rewired my Centurion. All going swimmingly except for slight issue with track control. Working single stick, using right hand stick on Tx. Left/right turn on Tx is giving fwd/reverse, and fwd/rev on Tx is giving left/right turn on tank. Have tried swapping rx co...

Option Pack wiring polarity

Sorry if this has been done to death elsewhere previously, a quick search didn’t reveal anything. Probably says more about my search capabilities
I just need to check the order of the red green and blue wiring please (+,-, signal).
Thanks in advance

Re: Workshop Insurance

Hi Steve Derek is spot on re Walker Midgley. Among other things, such as UK Tank Club, they are the insurance brokers for Southern Federation of Model Engineering Societies. If you were to join your local M.E. Club you would automatically benefit from third party (public) liability insurance to cove...

More amazing stuff Stephen.
With the smoke, and then gun stab, there will be no more holy grails to crack?
Well done

Re: Mark IV No. 01 - "Kathleen"

Hope I’m not about to embarrass myself with my ignorance but...... aren’t those deflector plates meant to channel muck out through the hole in the inner side frames? Given that the track moves from rear to front it seems that debris would accumulate against the outer frame where the holes are covere...
