Looking forward to see your latest video when it becomes available.

That link to that website looks to be very interesting and will surely keep me busy for some time.

I'm calling it finished.

Made the hinge for the gurtsack lid from a piece of black cloth and glued in place. Painted it and fitted to Mark's MG bracket. It's plastic (resin) but it's "close enuf" for me.

Still two items pending on the to-do list.

For those of you interested in artillery. An acquaintance who was also involved in it's restoration sent me these two YouTube links. One of them (and the most interesting) is a very recent animation of how the whole gun battery works. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyItmfUO3WA https://www.youtube.c...

Thanks Adrian and Bob for the suggestions.

Bob, now I remember you showing me photos of the cyano "bloom" when you were assembling the Sterling. Totally forgot about it.

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Last week the eBay bucket arrived but I will still be using Martin's bucket as it's nicer. Wife took possession of the other one. No more fighting for the same bucket. :D :D Today I received the SLA 3D printed gurtsack. My first ever 3D printed part and I'm impressed. It fits Mark Lawson's cupola MG...
