Re: Installing New Modules

Following Adrian's suggestion I went to experiment with the MG flash and managed to get it to work. I have the same audio module for my Tiger 1. The MG sound is programmed as the forth sound. By trial and error I found that the LED output No. 4 gives the flash with the corresponding sound. Lower pi...

Re: Installing New Modules

I would install the Audio Module between the motors and see if you get any kind of interference in the speakers when the motors are turning. I've never seen (heard) a situation where that was the case, as the motors are well shielded. If there is any kind of noise from the speakers, it's normally c...

Problems with set up the new 2017 modules

I’m in the process of installing the newer 2017 modules. I have several questions that I need help with. 1) In the Audio Module instructions mentions that the sound card is susceptible to magnetic fields. I was planning to put this audio module between my 2 main drive motors. Does this mean that I s...

Re: Uwe's King Tiger

Thanks Uwe

I'm looking into different e-cigarettes and pumps so that I may do something similar.
Thanks for your clever way you solved the effect of a smoking gun. I will see what I can come up with taking your idea and playing with it.

Re: Uwe's King Tiger

Hi Uwe I've a Tiger which I purchased in 2014. I from time to time just go through the web site looking at what others are doing when I came across your gun barrel smoke. My tank is mostly finished but for putting numbers, insignias and regiment info on it. It is my first build and I think I’ve done...

Stencils or Decals?

I'm at the point of my model build when I'm camouflaging and installing numbers, field crest & battalion markings. Do you have any advice as to the kind of decals or stencils to use and why. I'm leading towards stencils and have been looking into the armorpax ones. Any advice on your experiences on ...

Sound Card Exchange

Does any know whether a newer Benedini sound card like the TSB mini can be swapped out in the Armortek amplifier. If so is there anything special you need to do differently when installing it? If you can not install a TSB mini within the amplifier can you bypass the recoil system within the amplifie...

How to install Push Buttons to Run the Sound Module

I‘ve been using a 3 position switch to control my sound module and have been trying to come up with a better way to change the sound combinations. I purchased a Benedini encoder and was going to try it but before I did I was chatting with Adrian Harris about a different matter when he started to dis...

Re: Tiger 1 parts for sale

Hi Gary I'm interested in finding or building a better turret bin for my late model Tiger 1 tank when I came upon this add. Can you give me a little more detail on your bin and do you sale the parts for them or have you just made this one and want to sale it? I live in Canada Ontario so if you can g...

Re: Barrel Recoil Conclusion

Hi All I wanted to share the outcome of fixing my barrel recoil. Adrian was quit right that reversing the signal via the transmitter option is not possible as the control for the servo comes from the recoil module directly and not the transmitter. Also I was not able to move or reverse the servo its...

Re: Barrel Recoil

Hi Adrian

So, is there a way of having the Recoil Module connections for the barrel recoil reversed?

Barrel Recoil

Hi All I’ve discovered that my recoil does not. In my turret modification I had to connect the servo arm downward instead of up as is illustrated in the instruction not realizing that it made my barrel go forward when firing. What made this even more embarrassing is that I didn't even notice. It was...
