Maybach HL230 P45

I have decided to modify my Panther engine which I purchased from John Goode some years ago into the HL 230 P45. I also wanted to build the smoke generator into the engine in order to keep the engine bay details without having to move the smoke generator too far from the exhaust stacks. Here are som...

Re: The Original Tigers

I have a 2006 late production Tiger which I am currently building - after a hiatus of 5 years! Have lowered the rear deck and is busy changing the Panther engine which I purchased from John Goode into the HL230 P45. I would like to incorporate my smoking unit (still in boxes) into the engine as to t...

Very well done. Amazing! Don't you want to share the method of creating the mesh in a mesh101 tutorial?

Hi Tim, I used a normal servo connected to a on/off switch with a stiff piece of wire to activate the lights. Used one of the non proportional channels (gears or flaps in a normal 6 channel radio to activate this. The strobe is connected directly to the Benidini unit - without a flasher unit. Note t...

Hi Dale, I think i'm one of two Panther owners in South Africa. I havent been able to contact the other guy yet and havent seen any activity on the forum from him. I'm fortunate enough to be able to build six days a week for a month at a time when I'm home, which is once every three months. Must say...

Hi Tim and Bob, Thanks for the kind words. Tim, I used a book called "Panther variants in color" as reference for the camo pattern. This shows an additional snow whitewash that I decided to exclude for now. The "shot" was done with a 38 Special with the plate propped against a tree! Regards Gerrit

Finished Panther?

Hi all Panther builders I managed to post some photos to my gallery. My Ausf G is based on a Panzer Befehlswagen Regiment 22 Heeres Gruppe "Weischel" in Feb 45. I tried to give my model a "used" and battle-scarred look. I still have to add the german crosses and regimental numbers. I would also like...

Hi all,

How do I rebuild thumbnails for my photos in my gallery? My computer seems to hang when the message reads "building thumbnails"
