Re: Chieftain Stuff

Excellent work on the BV Dave, this would be an excellent addition to any model especially if one can open and close the lid regardless of jobsworth regs.

Re: Marder tracks

chunwai-model once produced the Marder though I think they no longer exist. Niels Herman in Germany also produced the Marder and Hetzer, he is now bankrupt. Speerhead models also now defunct produced a Hetzer. the likelihood of finding the original tracks is not good, it may be possible to have trac...

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Glen the Saumur Tiger I has post war applied zimmerit this is not original, zimmerit was never near nor uniform in its layout, I still find it best to look at period pictures of zimmerit in books this is still by far the best way to see the layout.

Re: Late Tiger 1 commission build by Phil Woollard

The level of detail you have added to the model makes it more realistic, I have always been a fan of " through the hatch" detail this changes it from a model to a scale replica in my opinion, well done.

Re: Stats n' stuff

Chieftain certainly has been a popular hit with people but I don't think Challenger would go down as well, Leopard on the other hand will appeal to many nations not just Germany and the thing with Leopard is that it wouldn't matter which variant it would still sell well, some of the Russian tanks su...

Re: Scale rubber antenna bases

Thanks Steve, the smaller mounts will add even greater detail our models thanks to Liam Mahoney and most of all Per Sonnervik, I'm sure Per would be happy with the smaller scale mounts.

I'm currently out of stock of the smaller mounts but still have some of the larger mounts.

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Simon is correct the Mantle on 131 was designed to fit one of the Porsche Tiger I's Latter Early model Tigers didn't have this cutout on the mantle, have you looked at the location of the driver/radio operators hatches these may be a little to far back from the front.
