Beautiful job on the PAK. Super details! Will your upgrades complement those by Dave (Armorpax)? IE yours and his combined to make a super detail set? Either way. lovely work - great reference for the rest of us "in process".

Re: 3D printed Sherman tyres

That looks great Adrian. Unbelievable how flexible it is. Probably will absorb water tho - esp if driven in mud etc. But then just print another one when needed. Cool! That material would work well for truck tires?

Re: Water slide decals

Steven, Paul, Yes I read the knowledgebase article. I was surprised that Powerpoint was an option. I use it almost everyday for work presentations (and I do prefer its useability over Word)- but never dreamed it can be used for decals. I've read folks using Corel draw etc - which I don't have. Good ...

May be a loose connection on a wire somewhere, like a crimp terminal loose on a wire.

Re: Water slide decals

Paul Agreed the artwork looks great. What software do you use to make the graphics? I'd like to try making decals. Regarding the GD, I don't profess to be any expert. But what I see from my books: Black helmet = low visibility, ie heavy combat tanks, Tiger, Panther w 3 color camo Stug Abt = white he...

Re: PAK 40 Tire question

So......this is the solution I came up with for tire fit issue: Made shim from .014" (.35mm) Alum sheet, drilled holes to give adhesive something to grip onto. https://s5.postimg.org/692h4v32v/Wheel_shims.jpg Fit of shims inside tires is quite tight: https://s5.postimg.org/zbgr7o9x3/Wheel_shims_-_in...

Re: 3D printer Sherman track links

Adrian, I didn't know you had a printer!!. Between the CNC lathe and printer you have some neat toys? Are you printing these links for extra detailing or actual RC use? I would think resin casting may be better, and a bit faster? 3D printing is great for making masters. Interested to see what the go...

PAK 40 Tire question

Hi All, Got my PAK the other day. Really neat kit, and kudos to Armortek. Been wanting one of these for a while. I noticed that the rubber tires are quite a bit bigger than the alum wheels however. I can make a shim (.4-.5mm thick by looks of it) to take up the space. I seem to remember this being a...
