Re: Sd.Kfz Rebuild

Great find Adrian, I'm sure with your make over and new CNC parts she will be a beauty once again. Would love to find one in the rough - but stripped and broken parts would be a worry. Looking forward to seeing it come to life again.

Re: Forum Use

Please no Facebook format! Noooo! I find it extremely hard to find much of anything except the most recent posts. I am a fairly technical person - but still find FB very aggravating to find anything I want to see. I miss the old Armortek user build galleries. As an example of an easy to use, easy to...

Excellent Dremel work on those Sprockets. Looks like real cast surface. Very cool work!
The steel sprocket rings are works of art! Beautiful.

Re: Steves Panther A

Steve,
I second Phil's comment. Hull is looking really good. Are you saving the upper side zimmerit for later? Perhaps after the tools and bits are placed?

Nice work! I will have to experiment with the tile adhesive for zimmerit. I have some leftover as well!

Re: Bergepanther "A" build log.

Kent,
Great pix. I like the field modified driver cabin roof. Similar to some US M36 and M10 for sniper protection. That would be a neat add on the "A" BergP!

Re: My Beaut Aussie Cent

Steven, This would make a great tutorial for knowledge base. I mean it IS an excellent tutorial! Those extinguishers look great. Never thought about Powerpoint as a decal graphic tool. Thanks for the ideas! Excellent job all round. I still do a double take every time I see your "Cent" - it looks lik...

Looking great Kevin,
Are you going to add side and turret skirts? Good to see you have the bogey wheel issue resolved. Looking good.

Re: Bergepanther finishing getting ready for filming

Great Phil, look forward to that. An "A" Berg with all metal parts will be a treat. I agree a plastic spade on these lovely metal models would be..well, an injustice!

Re: Bergepanther finishing getting ready for filming

Phil, Really nice details on the "G" Bergepanther. Fantastic model. I wish I had one of these in my collection. Will be interested to see the build on your "A" Berg. What will you do for a winch? Will the spade be metal? Do you have Armortek parts for those? Hopefully you will post a build thread. 8...

Re: Special Tool

There needs to be a jack in there somewhere (in image) as the front of the tank is lifted up. Makes perfect sense that the sockets are for small jib crane (pictured) to remove sprocket in field. Just like Pilse sockets on Panther G roof were used to remove engine deck parts. Would the maintenance ve...
