Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Vince I'm building the first generation Late Tiger 1. It should be similar to yours. Your bump stops look great! How did you make or where did you find the rubber stops? Fantastic work on those! As for advice - Keep at it and finish it! They are fun kits when finished! But easy to get side tracked f...

I was just going to say that bin looks its been on Phil's gunnery range - as a joke! Sure enough!
Looking forward to seeing it restored.

Hi Vince - I'm following along your Tiger build as well. Nice details you have added! I at am about at the same stage as you - although my Tiger has taken a back seat to a scratch build project for a while. Keep at it - Nice Work!

Your Panther is looking good. This is the process I enjoy most - the final painting. Getting close!

Re: First Kit - Pak 40 Assembly Questions

Hi Kevin Welcome to the Armortek forum. As others have mentioned some fitting and filing is necessary on these kits. The Pak40 is my 5th Armortek kit, and I'm finding it especially challenging for fit issues. I haven't fully assembled everything but I have had the same challenges with: 1) the elevat...

Magnificent model! The Churchhill is looking marvelous -in all its churchhill-ness. Don't let it fall off that stand though. Beautiful work -esp to get so much done in a year is amazing.

Dennis great job on the restore. Back to original trim.

Beautiful job on the PAK. Super details! Will your upgrades complement those by Dave (Armorpax)? IE yours and his combined to make a super detail set? Either way. lovely work - great reference for the rest of us "in process".

Re: 3D printed Sherman tyres

That looks great Adrian. Unbelievable how flexible it is. Probably will absorb water tho - esp if driven in mud etc. But then just print another one when needed. Cool! That material would work well for truck tires?
