Re: Panther 112

Heres a link to a modeler who did a 1/16 Heng Long Panther G in the scheme I described earlier. Its a very good rendition in my opinion.
Hope this link works.

Re: Panther 112

Brian I am not a huge fan of winter schemes, but these are interesting. They would definitely fit your Late G model with chin mantlet. https://i.postimg.cc/vDt3LcTF/Bundesarchiv-Bild-183-P0213-501-Westwall-Panzer-V-Panther-du.jpg https://i.postimg.cc/X7dhYvVg/Panther-G-Haguenau.jpg https://i.postimg...

Re: Armortek Giveaway

Brian, If you are certain you want to get rid of it, I'd recommend just selling it on the forum. As many wise folks have said you won't get exactly what you have into it, esp time. But you can get a pretty decent price on the Forum. I've sold 3 on the Forum very quickly, with no issues, and decent p...

Re: little panther

Brian
that's a nice looking panther. I have a non-motorized version. I remember back when I was a kid thinking these were so "huge" compared to 1/35. Times have changed thanks to Armortek!

Nice looking details Frank. It looks like the lower hull has seen a few miles on it already.

Re: Forum Banner

I'm wondering that myself - is that banner a hint? That would be a cool model. I'm afraid I'd have to have one of those even if it strains my wallet to breaking point.

Alan
Beautiful brass parts, I'm sure many would love to have a set of those racks and bins. They really add a lot to the limber. Nice work!

Re: Vince's Tiger 1 late variant 2017

Looking good Vince. I always make my own masks from blue painters tape. It works well and comes in wide widths for those big markings.
Best regards, happy holidays.

Alastair,
Great looking upgrades, I'm following along as well. A resin printer is a great addition for those detail parts. Looking forward to more mods!
best regards, and happy holidays.

Re: Tom's FAMO Build

Hi Tom I too use this method. I also think it is the best way. I had not considered using that type of square though - great idea. I also had not heard of different angle for different sides. Interesting and learn something all the time. Following your build with interest. Best regards, and happy ho...

Re: In memory of Gill Watkins

Wow this is shocking and terribly sad news. Gill made Armortek feel like family. Even for us across the pond. Well where she's going the packages are at least light and airy - I still remember her comments on packing heavy tank models out for delivery. Over the years I've purchased several - and she...

Re: Renault FT17

Beautiful little engine. 3D printing is a wonderful tool for this sort of detail. Still trying to wrap my head around all those real rivets! Even a small tank like this has a lot of rivets. Super cool project - can't wait to see it running!
