Re: Yves Panther A update

Hi Yves, Great questions. IF the electronic noise is truly coming from motors interfering with camera - then plastic shielding will most likely not block the noise. You could experiment with just a small alum shield around base of camera and sides - in direction of main motors - like a small tray. C...

Re: Yves Panther A update

Nice work Yves! Looks great. Very kind to include the two helper elves in the photos. The camera noise could be from the electric motors. Can you put a metal shield around the camera? I had a model go "rogue" on me this summer (out of control). I traced the cause as best I could tell - to one of the...

Re: Armorteks next model

John What a great project to do with your dad! I agree a think a dozer would be an awesome kit! Armored D7 or D8, Yesss! Tracks like a tank but a useful blade too! I also like the M4A3E8 - you (Armortek) have a lot of the parts already! The cast turret would be super cool. And no sweat to do after t...

Re: AAF Museum Meet in Danville, Virginia 2019

Mike What a great Armortek collection you have. That must have been one large truck to haul all those! Great pictures, I love the ground looking up at the models, makes them look 1:1. Sherman, M3, Pz4 are super cool. Awesome bridge! Great see what has been a 1/16 scale event being more represented b...

Re: Tiger 131 In South Wales

I'll second Marks compliment. Looking really good for an early tiger. I like the subtle camo pattern as well. Battle damage on exhaust covers look realistic.
Great work!

Re: Late Tiger 1 commission build by Phil Woollard

The bin looks great. Hard to believe its the stock version. My steel bin part got bent in several places, so not sure if it will work or not. I may discard the stock bin to a bigger (trash bin), but probably should make a attempt at salvage. Great work Phil, thanks for posting the details. This Tige...

Re: Comparing Heights of the M3 & M4A3

Great looking models Mike! Nice comparison. I wouldn't want to be in either in combat - but agree that the "house on tracks" M3 is a much bigger target. Glad the designers learned something between the two tanks, as the Sherman is an improvement. Although history would prove even it wasn't that grea...

Vince I too am loving your progress. Those first "drives" are awesome - when she first moves like a tank!

Great details!

Looks great Mike, very nice paint and weathering. Wish I still had my Pz 4! :(

Perfect for battling that lovely M3 in the desert!

Re: Panzer III ausf L

Hi Tom NORDPAC is a tank club in WA and Oregon. They focus primarily on 1/16 scale but several members including myself have 1/6 collections. All are welcome. Its a fun group, but pretty limited in Armortek vehicles (ie not many have them). There are a couple yearly events, Tankfest at Flying Herita...
